Piano Lessons

Solid technique, music literacy, and artistry from day one.

Who it's for

  • Beginners through intermediate students
  • Classical foundation with room for pop, hymn, and film
  • I specialize in beginners of all ages

What you'll learn

Students learn far more than simply how to play notes on the piano.

Lessons may include:

●Healthy piano technique
●Reading music fluently
●Rhythm and sight-reading
●Scales, chords, and theory
●Ear training
●Improvisation
●Composition
●Accompanying
●Expressive musical performance
●Performance confidence

Every lesson is customized to the student's goals, age, experience, learning style, and musical interests.

Some students love classical repertoire. Others want movie music, pop songs, hymns, jazz, worship music, or Broadway.

We build a path that keeps students challenged while helping them fall in love with making music.

A Library as Individual as Every Student

One of the greatest advantages of private lessons is that students don't have to fit into a single curriculum.

While Piano Adventures is my primary teaching series, I draw from an extensive library of carefully selected method books, repertoire collections, composition resources, and popular music to match each student's interests, goals, and learning style.

Whether a student dreams of playing Beethoven, movie themes, worship music, video game music, jazz, Broadway, or simply wants to play for personal enjoyment, I have resources to support that journey.

Featured Method Series

Piano Literature

Students gradually explore beautiful classical repertoire from every musical period—not just exercises, but real music worth playing.

Popular Styles

Many students enjoy supplementing their lessons with movie themes, Disney, pop, jazz, blues, Christmas music, worship music, Broadway, and other contemporary styles. These books help develop musical skills while keeping lessons fun and motivating.

Composition & Creativity

Students who enjoy creating music can learn to compose their own original pieces. Composition helps reinforce music theory, creativity, listening skills, and musical confidence. Composition projects are completely optional but highly encouraged for interested students.

Your Lessons, Your Goals

Every student comes to lessons for a different reason.

Some are preparing for competitions or auditions.

Some want a strong classical foundation.

Some simply want to play their favorite songs.

Some parents want structured musical training.

Others simply want their child to develop a lifelong love of music.

Private lessons give us the flexibility to create an individualized path that fits each student's goals while building solid musicianship along the way.
